Task 3 - AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH

In this article I'm going to write about a film that we had seen in the class with Mr.Hedley. The Genre of the film is Documentary. In the trailer they said: " By far, the most terrifying film you will ever see ", it's true. This film talked about the global warming and how does it effect on the earth.

The global warming is simply the rising of the temperature of the earth and realted things come after this change. This thing happening by burning fossil fuels such as coal, gas and oil and clearing forests.

There are many examples of effects that the film had showed. First, It showed some pictures of some places which dramaticly have changed in five decates. Second, The number of Category 4 and 5 hurricanes has almost doubled in the last 30 years. Third, The Arctic Ocean could be ice free in summer by 2050. And some other effects.

Task 2 - Global Warming

In this article, I'm going to write about the global warming causes. This problem is really a very big and worldwide problem. "Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and the oceans since the mid-twentieth century and its projected continuation"(Global warming, Wikipedia).

There are several causes of global warming. The first and biggest cause is the Carbon Dioxide . It can come from the Power Plants( from the burning of fossil fuels for the purpose of electricity generation), cars, airplanes and building structures. The second cause is the methane." According to the IPCC, methane is more than 20 times as effective as CO2 at trapping heat in the atmosphere" (Causes of Global Warming, EcoBridge). Moreover, there are many things causing the global warming.

The global warming is a very big serious problem. Many things are caused by the global warming such as: ice is melting worldwide, sea level rise became faster, warmer waters and more hurricanes.
